Handmade thin pashmina ring shawls made from finest and softest goat fleece, in solid mauve lavender purple color.

With traditional handloom, it takes around 3-4 days to complete a solid color pashmina shawl in diamond weave techniques. The term “Ring Shawls” is the common name termed from the urban myth that such fine wool as pashmina should fit through a normal sized ring and pulled out from the other side without getting stuck.

ARTIST

Traditionally, artisans uses handloom to hand weave Pashmina for generations. Due to the fineness of the fibre and the shape of the weave, it is very challenging to spin by machine. While one can differentiate a handwoven shawl from a machine weave by the uneven fringe base and exactness of the length of the shawl.

Pashmina is considered as one of the softest level of fleece exist in the market today, and can be tested for authenticity by burning its natural pilling animal fibers, and its non-static nature when you rub it together. With even a little bit of synthetic fiber burnt, the fake Pashmina would stink like burning plastic, and the acrylic or polyester mix would generate statis electricity without question. However, with real Pashmina, from real animal fibre, it would smell natural, feel soft without static, not shine, pill naturally, and be hypoallergenic.
